This workshop qualifies as the pre-requisite requirement for applying to the Utah Individual Development Program. During this course you will learn:

  • Budget Development: Learn how to create short-term and long-term goals
  • Healthy Money Management Choices: choices in financial institutions, how to distinguish between wants and needs, types of savings vehicles, and record-keeping/
  • Wise Use of Credit: Appropriate use of credit and alternatives to credit use.
  • Consumer Information: comparison shopping, identity theft and fraud, predatory lending practices, public and non-profit resources for consumer assistance.
